What other options has anyone used other than mounting the front plates in the standard place? I just bought a 09 S5 that grew up in Georgia and they didn’t require front plates there. They do here in Colorado so I have to do something in the next 3 weeks before the temps expire.

I’d really prefer not to stick the plate right in the center of that gorgeous front end but what other options do I have? I found a few “hide the plate” solutions out there, some manual and one mechanical. The problem is that these are all designed to be mounted to the bottom of the bumper and come out from underneath. As you know these cars already sit pretty low, I’d think I’d lose an undermounted plate holder pretty quickly going in or out of the mall or the speed bumps at work. So in the end, I opted out of not running with a front plate.
